Dr. Stephanie Jones is a veterinarian, entrepreneur, and advocate for the human-animal bond with more than 25 years of experience in companion animal medicine. She is a co-owner of Animal Hospital of Fort Lauderdale, where she has served the South Florida community since 2000, with special interests in soft tissue surgery and reproductive medicine.

Originally from Arkansas, Dr. Jones earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout her career, she has remained passionate about advancing animal welfare, promoting lifelong learning, and strengthening connections between veterinary professionals and the communities they serve.

Dr. Jones founded Pets Help The Heart Heal, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the social, physical, and emotional well-being of historically disadvantaged youth. A strong advocate for veterinary workforce development, Dr. Jones has mentored numerous high school and college students through her shadowing programs, helping many pursue careers in veterinary medicine and related fields.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Jones is often accompanied by her two Rough Collies, Max and Tyson. Max is a certified therapy dog who has brought comfort and joy to countless children and families, while Tyson is training to continue that legacy.
